Unclog Those Pores And Get Healthier Skin With Comedone Control Serum

Skincare is one of the most crucial routines that cannot be ignored for long. Maintaining a healthy skincare routine helps in keeping the skin beautiful, moist and young. Often, women face issues of open pores in the skin, which get clogged. This results in the formation of a bump on the skin, commonly known as “blackheads” or” whiteheads”. In dermatological parlance, they are called comedonal acne.

Causes:

The common cause is that excess oil generation by the skin causes comedone acne. The excess oil generated by sebaceous glands gets filled into the open pores to an extent that it appears on the surface of the skin. This looks like a bump on the skin, which can be seen and felt.

Another cause is the aggregation of dead skin cells, bacteria and other dirt particles on the skin. These clog the open pores and block the follicle, resulting in the formation of comedones acne

Caution:

Although comedone acne are not prone to progress into painful and inflammatory pimples; however, poor skin hygiene can result in one. Oily skin is more prone to develop comedone acne.

Where they appear:

These mainly appear on the face, neck, nose, chest, upper arms, and sometimes back. These mostly look like a dark spot or blemish on the surface of the skin. Although these are not painful, they surely can pave the way for the development of painful acne if not attended on time.

How to prevent comedone acne:

A few steps can be followed as a part of the routine to minimize the occurrence of comedone acne and keep the pores free of any blockages.

  1. Wash the face or affected area twice in a day.
  • Use water-based products for washing and moisturizing the face. Use oil-free make-up or cosmetics that don’t clog the pores.
