Rush University Medical Center To Utilize Radio Frequency Identification Technology From Mobile Aspects
Mobile Aspects announced that the Center for Congenital and Structural Heart Disease (CCSHD) at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, has agreed to install iRISupplyâ„¢, a clinical resource management system that manages medical devices and supplies through radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The cabinet-based system will be deployed to store, track, and manage the utilization of high cost implantable devices used to treat patients with congenital heart problems such as atrial septal defects, ventricular septal defects, and heart and pulmonary valve replacements.
